I replaced the spark plugs last month and my car has a bad MAF. Today I brought the car in to get MAF replaced. They found the error code and agreed to replace the MAF under the warranty. The temperature sensor was also bad and the spark plugs needed to be replaced(it has black color).
How can they go bad within a month? (Aren't they supposed to last for like 40k miles.)
With the new Temperature sensor (DTC) and a bad MAF, the car's idle is really bad. When I came to stop at stop light, the engine suddenly stopped. I needed to restart every time.
I'll be appreciated any input. Thanks

Re: Can new NGK spark plugs go bad after one month? (silvertron)

I can only speak of two cycle engines (trail bikes & snowmobiles)
When we flood the engine badly, the plugs would never work as good after-wards. Perhaps your faulty sensor delivered too rich a mixture? Thats all I can think of.
