Can you swap on a Carrado Front end?

I was wondering what is involved with putting a carrodo front end onto a GTi. Can you use just the fenders, hood, grille, rad support. or do you have to modify the unibody?

Saw one done in a mag one time...can't seem to remember which one at the moment.
Seem to recall them saying it was a PIA.

Do a search, their was a thread about it last week. I dont think you wanna go that route http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif Their are some things just need to be left alone
