Ever have those freak accidents where you figure out the one thing you could have done to prevent that accident?
Yeah, cracked my wind sheild today.

Was doing the ol-pull up the Wiper and clean under them trick. Noticed that the blade wasnt clipped in correctly and pulled it out to reinstall it.
Then BAM!!!!!!!!!!!

The arm falls and makes a perfect circle crack that spidered up towards the Right A pillar.

Jaw just dropped and mean words followed.
So heres my point:
How much is Labor+new Wind Shield
What freak accidents have you experenced with your MKIV?

Pics for clicks sinces it really hard to take a picture of a WS crack.

lucky florida has free windshielf replacement... check with insurance

Well, I live in Illinois but my Insurance is with a company in Ohio. Plus the fact that its my own damn fault.
Dunno if it would be covered.

See......that might work if it was 100% obious that the Wiper arm came down and hit it.

Its like a freaking exact size of the arm U and just spreads out from there.

yeah im gettin mine replaced for free tomorrow, only a 6 inch crack. werd to insurance!
