Car alarms

I'm looking for a kick ass car alarm. I'm looking for something to put into my Jetta, I'm getting a set of Oettinger 17' next spring and I would like the confort of knowing that they are being semi-protected agaist theft.
Because we all know that the stock alarm is crap.
I'm also looking for a good place to have it installed in Ottawa, ON or Montreal, QC for a decent price ($500 or less would be nice).
I don't want to get rid of the stock alarm mind you, I just want to add this on to my car w/o disabling the stock one. I don't mind have two key fobs on my key chain if it means my baby is safe and protected.

Any suggestions?
Thx guys!

Wheel locks. End of story.

There was a post on here a while ago about adding extra sensors (shock, motion) to the stock alarm. That's what I'd do if I wanted more security.

I think you're gonna need sensors in case they try jacking up your car and a much louder siren. Get a mid-level Clifford alarm that has a proximity sensor for about $300-350, definitely get a set or two of wheel locks, pedal-jack from pedaljack.com, and why not a Club to go w/ that as well while you're at it if you don't own one already.

The club is a joke, save your money.

Which car would a thief rather mess w/ it:
1) Car w/ club.
2) Car w/o club.
The club is not a lot of money and it won't hurt you. It won't guarantee your car from not being stolen but at least it will slow them down a bit. I use it and so do a lot of other people.
