Ok im a noob in the vdub scene... i was a balla in the ford 1.8 DOHC scene in my escort gt but my friend recently sold me his gti for a price i could not pass up. The price was low for many reasons but mainly b/c his car was stolen and they jacked up the steering making themselves run into a minivan. it was above the bumper and it wasent a really hard hit... the motor runs strong but i need a list of things and i wanted to figure something out before i drop 45 bucks on it at the local jy
the damage consists a broken headlight, grille, mangled core support, damaged fender (pass side) and a messed up door (also pass side, duh). well ive priced it out but and am happy with the bill ive kinda figured out its pretty low but TO MY QUESTION... FINALLY, what A2 doors will fit on a gti... i would try it in the lot but the local j/y's never have gti's so i cannot.
also on a side note, im unsure if i wanna post this in the classifieds yet i gotta wait till next weekend for some things but i WTB anything in the list if you can get it to Portland OR for cheaper than have found. also i wouldnt mind a either 2 round light setup of 4 light setup if you got the parts around and wanna sell. i have euro bumpers on it that are kinda cracked on the black trim (i can get pics if your interested) and would like to trade for big bumers, color doesnt matter ive got some other painting to do anyway when i get the other parts.
