This afternoon my GTI was refusing to start. The engine would turn over fine. After a few times, it finally took and started. Well it did it to me again this evening. After a few tries, it finally started. So I checked it with my VAG-COM and found these codes. Are they all related to the immobilizer? Otherwise the car has been fine with no other problems. I'm going to try my other key to see if that helps. I've cleared the codes to see if they return.

Re: (CHRISWEARSNOPANTS)

Thanks for the tip and quick response! I'll keep an eye on the fuel pump relay. Time to dig out the Bentley manual again.

easy fix the fuel pump relay powers all of them short to ground thingers

Correct-a-mondo!
Remove the fuel pump relay (#409) and clean the terminal.
Otherwise replace the relay.
