Hi i'm new here but i recently bought a 98 vr6 off of another member here and all was well and good until i realized that the cel never turns on. I live in ohio and have emissions check, so without the light turning on it's an automatic failure.
On that note i popped out my generic obd scanner and a code p1613 flashed (MIL Call-up - Circuit Open or Short to B+) among a few others. Does anyone know what this could be?
I did check all the wiring to make sure that there were no open wires, as well as cecking the cluser with a volt meter. I'm completely lost now and would love it if anyone could help me out..

take the cluster out the bulb is prob removed or has burned out?

The bulb wasn't there when i first pulled it out but i replaced it with a working one.

Also the relay from position number three is missing, and there is a wire running from the left terminal in number three to the ecu. I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not.
