Awesome collection!!
Damn I wish I could weld aluminum...
I would have made new endtanks and a water jacket on my oem IC tomorrow...
How much do you think a welding guy would take to do that on his spare time if you knew the guy (I would supply the aluminum and cut everything to the right dimentions, and he would just weld it together)?
The radiator is no problem, you can get a used or new big engine oil cooler/autotranny oilcooler/ac condenser/motorcycle radiator etc.

I'm letting the welder work on audi intakes for me. then I'll let him have a rest before I spring another project on him. family friends are terrible people to over work.

I thought these pics would be a nice complation. If anybody has more air to water pics please post them

But does anyone have an idea of what kind of labour is involved in just welding it together if I cut all the aluminum to the correct shapes? (If I could get someone do do it here in Norway). Do you think it'l cost like $50 or $500, just a ballpark idea would be nice.

It all depends on what type of guy you meet. $100 or less if you find a good chap.

Frank i have that PVW...which reminds me to ask a question...what exactly is water injection???
I just finished looking over an old GOLF mag while in the doompah..ill add a few pics....seems like both are allurad setups

water injection is the use of water to make the air charge temp cooler inthe intake tract of a forced induction car--- like nos-- cooler air is a more denser air-- allowing you to get the same results with premium octane gas that you do with race gas- go to aquamist.com p.s it cost me a bit to set up too-

im still a little unclear as to what exactly water injection is...where is it injecting to?
