Toyo T1-R makes a 195/45/14.
thats the only tire i can think of without having to order them from overseas

that sidewall would be far too tall.
you are looking for small not balloon-ish right?
the 165/65/14 tire's sidewall is basically 1 inch taller than the 195/45/14
and the overall diameter is 1.5 inches more than the 195/45/14.
i know you are looking for cheap but you say you are also looking for the "smallest" 14" tire.

worse comes to worse i'll rock 185/6o but i want to find some that are a little smaller overall, at about the same price as an average 185/60

im lowerd on FK 85/70 and dont want to rub. will these tires fit?

OEMpl.us can get 195/40-14 Contis. But they ain't cheap.

yes i realize there are a lot of smaller options from europe but i really really do not want to pay for shipping etc...
i mean the toyos in 195/45 i can get for like 320$ shipped

x2 on the 165/65's...
I don't have 'em yet (pic request anyone?) But that's what I plan on running on my 14x6's. I've got 185/60's on there right now, and they're a little balloony. I was hoping for something lower profile with a little stretch, and since funky euro sizes are impossible to find (175/50's would be sweetness), I think the 165/65's are the best bet.
195/45's would be a little shorter (and more expensive of course) but they'd also be too wide for my 14x6's. Broken dipstick, what size wheel are you running? If its a nice wide wheel, these would be your best bet, but if you're just running snowflakes or bottlecaps or something (like I am) then I wouldn't go with 'em.
Just for clarity's sake:
165/65/14 = 6.50 inches wide, 4.22 inch tall sidewall
185/60/14 = 7.28 inches wide, 4.37 inch tall sidewall
195/45/14 = 7.68 inches wide, 3.45 inch tall sidewall

are you sure about that??
won't it look like i have a huge sidewall with those?? i mean the 195/45's will be an inch shorter

or will they just get taller looking because they are so wide?
and yes they are going on teardrops.
so with the 195/45's i will have more outer sidewall "balloon" ?
