Basically I am looking to get my Wolf UPsoluted.....
my one hesitation is that I would love it if I could simply pop open my ecu and throw in a stock chip when I go to VW for service or if anything goes wrong.
is there such a thing that I could do???
is there another chip that allows for this if UPsolute does not???
and if you are going to say..."dude, why don't you use the search feature??", well basically it is worthless....
so thanks for your input everyone... you have all been really helpful thus far.... soon I will post pics of my car with my new suspension that is sitting in my living room.....
thanks

Re: Chip for AWW Wolfsburg.... (du-du)

So APR allows for easy chip removal???
I would love to do UPsolute.... have you incurred any problems at all with the chip??? any problems going to dealers for service at all??
thanks
quote:

you can't do that with Upsolute. Go with APR.
but I have never had a problem with my Ups. Love it!! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: Chip for AWW Wolfsburg.... (soflawolfsburg)

I thought APR wants you to go get a new ECU????
I may be mistaken but I totally thought that there was someone out there who allows for swapping chips pretty quickly????
just wanted to see if anyone else knows of what it is....
also anybody know any distributors in South Florida???

APR allows you to have multiple programs on the chip. So you can switch the programming back to stock for dealer trips and other stuff and then switch it to other modes when you want it.

Yup.
I have APR w/EMCS.
I run 1.1 bar up to the dealer's driveway, then toggle over to stock.
NOTHING is utterly invisible except a 2nd ECU and a VAG tool...but it's pretty stealthy
