I'd only do it for show.
Get it chrome dipped.

i just don't want to spend the time to polish my vgi, ever seen a chrome VGI, i need to find a place to get my VGi chromed. those pics are sick.

I'd rather just polish the manifold myself. I don't know about dippin it in chrome. It looks really hot, but seems like it would be expensive.

When it comes to chroming parts You still need to polish it as if you were going to leave it polished. Then you take it to a chrome plating shop and they will do a 3 step process. I believe it goes copper, nickle, chrome. Then poof you have spent 300.00 on a cool looking manifold that keeps all of the heat inside of itself. "chrome does not dissipate heat." Looks great but not practical for driving everyday. I used to chrome lots of stuff on my old aircooled show cars.

Ok guys... Does anyone have any idea how the hell they are running a VR6 with no damn vacumn lines or anything??? That just boggles my mind
