Chrome............What Do You Think??

I Was Thinking Of Things I Could Do And I Got The Idea Of Painting My Front & Rear Valaces Chrome (Shiny Chrome Like The VW Logos On The Front And Back) But I'm Really 50/50 On The Idea So I Was Wondering What The Vortexers Think. My VW Is A BONE STOCK Golf GLS, Bright Green. It Would Be Great If Someone Could Do A Photochop. Any Comments Are Welcome. (Also Imagine Future Upgrades Like Chrome Side Skirts.....Maybe.....It's The Automatic Shifters Fault, It Caused Me To Think Of This.)

I don't think that sounds like a good idea. Would just clash with the color of your car in my opinion.

Congratulations on finding your shift key for every word in that post! Just kidding man. I think the chrome valences might be a little extreme ("ricey" I'm sure the ensuing hordes will call it). I'm not sure the chrome is going to jive with the green. Black car, maybe. Chrome trim on the interior might look good (unless you've got a beige interior).

My Interior Is Beige.....Extreme Is Not What I'm Looking For. I Want Them To Be Some Color Besides Plastic Black, But I'm Not Sure I Want Them To Be The Same Color As The Body (Overdone But Looks Great If You Know What I Mean). I Like Things Subtle And Smooth. Imagine The Chrome On A White Golf Also (Not Just Bright Green) Cause I May Get Another One Soon (And Give This One To My Girl) I'm Just Sitting Back And Seeing What VW's Up To.

Chrome valences would not really be subtle, even on a white car. Also, chroming plastic is not cheap, and chrome paint generally doesn't look good.

Maybe not chrome. The peoblem is what are you going to paint in the center? Do you have side skirts? If not, I'd go body color. Also, keep in mind that chroming plastic is VERY EXPENSIVE! A little door latch for my A2 was $70. Imagine what it'd cost for one valence, let alone both valences and side skirts to match. That's a Konigseder b/kit right there. Plus, as soon as you hit a curb with it, bye bye chrome plating.
