Clay Bar how to? where did the FAQ topic go!

There used to be a FAQ thread about clay bar, a step by step process, anyone know where it went, or care to enlighten me agian, thanks in advance

When I used the clay bar, I kept straight overlapping lines and also kept it well lubricated on the bar and the surface. Being careful not to use to much lubrication because of overspray on the moisturing liquid.

I used the mothers kit.

I have the mothers kit also, the directions are missing, I was wondering do you need to wipe the quik detail film away before you apply the carnuba wax they supply you with?

Well I re washed the entire car because if leave the quick detail film on it causes some residue. So I assume if you want to apply wax it couldnt hurt to rewash the car so the base is clean. And if I recall correctly I think you it states to wash the car with your "favorite auto soap" after your done with the clay bar.
