303 Aerospace protectant will leave the finish with its OEM matte appearance. It'll protect it from sunfade as well.

Re: Cleaning Dash? (EuroStyle)

Meguires #40 cleaner/conditioner, leaves surface dull not glossy and smells like "new car smell". Used it for years and it seems to protect well against sun cracking too!
Re: Cleaning Dash? (95vw)

water and a chamois work just fine.
Re: Cleaning Dash? (95vw)

formula 2001 with sunstop. is good for vinyl and leather!!!
Re: Cleaning Dash? (Razzy)

Tuff Stuff follow by Low Gloss ArmorAll.
Re: Cleaning Dash? (95vw)

303 and a lightly water dampened microfiber towel. Every 2- 3 months. Stays nice looking, very little dust on my black dash. On the in betweens I just use a microfiber I have tucked in the seat pocket.
Re: Cleaning Dash? (95vw)

the california dash duster is great for removing dust... and i leave it eau naturale (no products)

Are you SURE about Swiffer wipes? I'm about to buy them if you think you're right. I just don't want to leave anykind of cleaning product residue on the dash.
Re: Cleaning Dash? (hawc)

swiffer won't leave a residue but the fibers tend to grab and come off (the dry swiffers) I won't use wet ones cause the chemicals are harsh
water and a good microfiber is the way to go, IMO the microfiber will also dust you dash, not to mention the interior wood, plastic, chrome, and glass.
as in the commercial ads, if you like 303 then try Blackmagic Semi-gloss Dashboard Protectant, same key ingredient as 303, make sure you get the correct water-based kind by name only as their other silicone stuff is not good. At $2.99 a bottle over the counter it's a great product to at least try, no shine just a nice healty sheen. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Swiffer wipes cost around 4 bucks a pack...if you don't like 'em, give them to your wife...(1 less excuse for not 'detailing' the house !)
