These came last Friday and aside froma couple issues I'm really digging them. They're quite visible, even during the day!
Before

Lights on

Brake on

The turn/hazards do not have LED panels, they just take a regular bulb. I used some multi LED bulb with 360 degree projection and they work pretty good.

Two questions, my third brake light won't turn on. I've replaced all bulbs and checked the fuses, any thoughts?
Also, what is the simplest way to wire the lights that sit underneath the reverse lights? I'd like them to come on with the brakes, but I think they're more of a fog light?

Re: Clear/Red LED tails from DDI installed! (pacobonnin)

well the 3rd brake light only thing i can think of is eitehr a bad ground or a broken wires somewhere. If all else fails. just run a jumper wire from the positive terminal that connects to the brake light bulb and connect it to your 3rd brake light and make sure you have a legit ground and you should be set. as far as the fogs and what not im not sure.youd have to take a look up there see how much time its gonne be to get them wires up and workng and all. best of luck.

I was planning on maybe wiring the second led panels from the 3rd brake light, since they draw so little current. I'll have to start tracing wires I guess

You are correct; they are fog lights in Europe. I rigged mine up to be brake lights, and it is VERY easy. You need 1 or 2 splice caps, and 2 normal sized spade connectors. Splice into the 3rd brake power wire, and run a wire to each side of the hatch. If I think to, I'll check which one later, but 1 of the spade connectors in the factory bulb holder harness (directly behind the fog light bulb) is unused, and you simply plug in the wire you spliced from the 3rd brake light. VERY easy and cheap mod! The result? See for yourself:

Edit- of course, you'll need to add a bulb as well. You may need to break out the small plastic blank where the bulb goes. You'll see when you take the bulb holder off the back of the taillight lens. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Nice Corrado and nice picture http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif What city is that?
The LED tails already have LED panels where the fogs go. I Just need to figure out why I'm not getting power to the 3rd light and I should be good to go

why is there a square panel of LED's in there but not one in the top? it looks home made to me.
Maybe if they looked something like this they wouldn't look so cheesy.

notice non of these have a home made looking square panel of LEDs in them, they really should have put more work into the corrado tails because they could look great but instead look like a DIY.

What's your opinion on those bulbs? I've been toying with the idea of getting them for our brake lights. I bought a set on ebay when they first came out, but they didn't have the 360 degree illumination, so it produced a small circle on the lens instead of a gleaming brake light. Are the newer 360 degree LEDS as bright as an incandescent bulb? Do you have any side by side comparison shots? http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
