How do i know if the blower motor in my climate control is no good? Is it known to fail?
I had a burn resistor, so i was using the max speed for a few days, and i'm afraid that might've burnt it.
I've already checked all the fuses and the metal contact

How could i check if the blower is no good?
Thanks

pull apart that half of the dash, then find the blower. turn it on, and check resistance as well as voltage at the output shaft.

if a '93 is the same as a '90 then it is behind the glove box. mine went bad but you could hear it when you turn it on past #1. it would growl something fierce. it's kind of a b!tch to get out though if you do have to replace it.

An "acquaintance" of mine swapped everything from a newer Corrado dash into his Jetta Coupe, and the fan motor et al was right there.
Its not necessarily right behind it, its a little behind it and below it, more towards the pass side door.
