Okay, I just finished a auto tranny to manual tranny swap, and I have some questions about my clutch cable... (it's a manual adjust cable, btw)
It looks like this near the firewall...

It looks like a rubber washer stacked between 2 metal washerss, but non of it is touching the firewall...
About the pedal cluster... There's a metal tube that sticks out into the engine bay, and the inner metal washer rest against that tube.
Question is, does this setup look correct to you?

Also, there doesn't seem to be any sealing washer around the metal tube protruding from the pedal cluster.... What's preventing water from entering the inside?
