The clutch cable shaft that is welded to the pedal cluster and goes through the wall broke on me today. This is right after I installed a new clutch.

Anybody have any quick fixes for this?

Some guys use vice grips down there as a temporary.. also heard about finding some of the right sized washers and using the firewall as a bracket.. but when you take it out to replace/fix it.. be sure to strenghthen up that cable bracket with some weld before putting it back in..

oh man this happened to me... the vicegrip fix wont last long.. just fix it asap
