here's what I got: 95 Jetta GLX
what's going on: the clutch pedal won't budge, it's stuck in the up position. When trying to push the pedal in, it's as hard as a rock and won't go down at all. I can still shift gears by turning off the car putting it in first gear then starting the engine and once at a certain RPM pull of gear and gently engage the next gear.
I have honestly no idea where to start. Any help will of course be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the slave cylinder has extended fully, maybe the rod went through the release arm. I'd start by seeing if the pedal goes down with the bleed nipple open, that'll narrow it down to the slave cylinder area.

ok, I will give that a go.
And just in case that doesn't do the trick any ideas on the next step in troubleshooting this?
