I promise this is my last question.
So on my C, the clutch does not need to be engaged to start the car. On my mk4 the clutch switch is part of the cruise control circuit. Is this true on the corrados as well? Could the broken clutch switch cause the cruise to not work at all.

There was never a clutch switch, only one to disable the cruise control.

Wait the corradoes never needed the clutch engaged to start? So does it have a trans neutral switch?

no, nothing will interfere with the ignition/starter

you have to have an IQ over 100 to start a Corrado safely.

BTW, If you do a 1.8T swap you can just jumper the clutch start lockout relay to make it work for people with a higher IQ.
Ask me how I found that out... why won't it start.... Follow wiring diagram... What's that junk?
