So about 3 weeks ago my car would not let me go into any gears. BUT if I pump the clutch I'd be able to get into gears for about 2 mins.

I bled the system and it would only last a few miles then do it again.

So I inspected the master cylinder and lines and everything looked fine with no leaks. So I concluded that my slave cylinder failed, maybe I just couldn't see it leaking since it was inside the transmission.

After removing the transmission the pressure plate looked fine and the "failed" slave cylinder looked fine as well.

I just finished replacing it and I'm still loosing pressure as soon as I start the engine.

With the engine off the pedal is firm, when I turn the engine on, I lose most of the firmness and sometimes stays down.

also what is the round plastic item connected to the master cylinder? The Manual shows it inside diagrams but doesn't specify what it is.

Thank you. The replacement MC should arrive by Wednesday.

I hope its not the pressure plate, I just had it replaced in May.

Update. Just installed the MC, did not work.

I will have to pull off the transmission again and inspect the flywheel and pressure plate.
