My friend's visiting from NJ so I decided to show him Highway 1...we had a nice ride up through big sur from San Luis Obispo, then decided to take a mountain road up to Lake Nacimiento, but we peeled off on a dirt road into the middle of nowhere for some dirty, reckless fun
ended up having to turn around after we were 20 miles in with no sign of an end...well...that and we literally couldn't make it up a hill
.

fun...

funner...

woops, too much fun = powerslide turns into 360

looked like a mkII gti from behind but when i went to check it out it was some american knock-off (chevy i think)

i think the door sill's supposed to be black

fun w/ a long shutter speed

Re: Coastal Highway :):Mk3GTi::)

all you need to do is put some stickers on your car, with a big ass number.
get some people to be on the side of the road cheering, and you can superimpose a ralley shot.

Re: Coastal Highway (fracan)

Yeah the 60/40 kit made it a little more interesting than it woulda been at stock height- The road was really rough in some parts and we had to slow it down hardcore, but halfway through we thought we were gonna die because all we saw when we looked to the side was a dropoff and some clouds about 1000 feet below us. no known damage today...everything's still in tact and running fine.
I'm not sure why this was triple posted...can a mod delete the other 2?

Nice, reminds me of my 89' Cabriolet. I decided it was a rally car because if you unscrewed the e-brake button it wouldn't rachet and was very effective as a handbrake setup. Now I'll go out of the way to stay off dirt roads or Detroit highways.

http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif for having the stones to hang it out and have some semi-controlled fun instead of being incredibly anal
