i saw very nicely detailed instructions on how to do this a while back, now i am ready to do it,silly me did not print them out then, now the search is down.... can anyone link to me a thread with these instructions???? thanks guys.

I know there are old threads, but I have no idea where. Here's what I did when I had to fix my coil pack, along with pictures I took.
First, you have to get to the coilpack. Mine looks different since it's a 1998 mk3. Once you get there and get it out, basically coat everything on top and around the posts with epoxy. Go up the posts enough to get under where the plug wires go, but not with too much. I used JB Weld, it's cheap and it's worked flawlessly for two years now. The little lines at the base of each post are the cracks, you have to cover those and make sure they don't come back. Let it all dry very well, and then put it back. It's really easy.
