Does anyone know if any companies make a good performance coil pack for the new jetta 1.8T?

I dont know if there even is such a thing. To my knowledge the coilpacks are not lik e aftermarket spark plug wires, I think you got what you got. But I could be wrong.

Check the article in the latest Eurotuner. It's the one where they are doing a PES turbo upgrade kit on a Passat. They mention something about aftermarket coil packs...plasma comes into mind....(?)
