how new are the plug wires? try swapping wires at the coil pack with cyl6 to anything but cyl1 (1&6 are on the same coil) if the misfire codes moves to the cylinder you swapped it to its the wire...

Not sure why this was moved to the 12v forum...since I own a 24v which the coils are independent. Please move back to the correct forum.

your profile lists the 98 gls (which isnt a VR6...), what car are you refferring to?

Well I can tell you that a P0300 is a random misfire and not a cylinder 6 misfire. P0306 is a cylinder 6 misfire. So which part of your information is incorrrect?
