Cold/Hot Problem

I have a few problems... I know you all probably hear, or say that, at least 10 times a day with the c. Well, my car runs real nice when I first start it up and drive it for the first few miles. After the first few miles it feels like the car gets sluggish and runs a little slower, not much but enough to notice. I know the heat doesnt help our cars but it is about 20 degrees out and the car just doesnt feel right. I only say this because I have driven it in the summer and had no problems. Along with this after I shift into any of the gears and ease on the gas I get a small but noticible hesitation, then it picks up and is fine. It will also hesitate if I let off the gas for a sec. then push it again. This just recently started. Any ideas? I hear people say this may be caused by a bad blue coolant sensor??? Where is this located if this is the prob. and where can I buy one? THANKS FOR ANY HELP!

Yeah baby,I woke up from sleep to reply.
The Blue coolant temp sensor relays coolant temp to the ECU to adjust timing and fuel delivery. It is located on the thermostat housing, which is under the dist/coilpack area, behind the fan motor.
Also check your Mass Air Flow sensor and Throttle Position sensor.

mine was doing somewhat of the same thing, i was getting hesitation or what some people call a safe mode when pushing the peddle down, if i let up off of it it would go back to normal, i have a CEL that was going on and off at the same time, it ended up being the camshaft position sensor
Re: Cold/Hot Problem (capthowdy_1968)

huh... safe-mode? How did you correct your problem? Mine just hesitates for a moment, about 3 seconds then picks up like normal. I am usually only pressing on the gas lightly to. Although it doesnt matter how light or heavy I press, it will still delay those few seconds. I am usually pretty light on the gas though, for fuel economy though. I have heard of people getting this hesitation when flooring it, but thats not my problem, don't know if this is related???
Re: Cold/Hot Problem (Cyterio)

i wouldn't say i was flooring it, mine started when i was driving from KY to FL, while i was on the hwy running say 65, i would get the hesitation, i would then have to let off the gas till the CEL light went out and then give it gas again, the longer i drove the worse it got. when i say "safe mode", i mean the car will kind of shut itself down to keep you from damaging the motor, i don't really know when this safe mode happens or for what kind of problems, but that it what i've heard it called
Re: Cold/Hot Problem (Cyterio)

92's often suffer from the Throttle Position Sensor,Could also be the Hall Sensor, which is a cam position sensor equivalent, but inside(a part of) our distributor.
93's (most) have a coilpack, using a Cam Position Sensor to tell the ECU to regulate spark,It goes bad, often the problem. It is on the timing chain cover, behind the coilpack.
