Well it's a done deal I will be moving back to the Springs mid March. I had an idea that can hopefully lead to putting together a real club in the area.
When I lived in Vegas all the local dubbers would meet up every sat like 6pm in a big lot next to a local bar. Hang out for an hour or so, some guys would then take off and go out drinking, get dinner or whatever else they wanted to do. No real organized club just about 30 dubs heads hooking up once a week.
I have talked it over with a few guys in Know in the springs and we wanna start having little GTG's every Sat in the parking lot of Old Chicago's on the corner of Academy and Austin Bluffs meeting up about 6pm or so. If you guys are interested let me know we can start this in April or something.. Tell all your VW and Audi buds that don't read the Vortex.. Hope to meet up with you all and make some good friends...

Bless the lord VW's are finally making a pressence in C.Springs. i have been rollin in my jetta for a few years now trying to find other dubers and it just hasn't happend. The only other Dubbers that i know in the Springs are friends i have turned into dubbers and like 2 people off of vortex. Right now i'm living in Fort Collins, going to school at CSU, but i come home often so i will be around on saturdays. My spring break is from March 9th - 17th and my car will just be getting out of the shop then also. hope to see you guys around.

I won't be back home until summer, but I would like to meet some other vdubbers. Also if any body has a flash red golf/gti and wants to do a front end swap let me know, cause I'll be looking for one in May.

Dave and I always try to setup up GTGs... but the damn weather never cooperates with us.

hey guys, whatssup? i live in florissant (near cripple creek) and work in woodland park (at rmmotorworks). i've got a '95 GTI VR6 with just a couple mods so far, but wait untill it's paid off in three months...yeah! i'd love to try to come down and meet some fellow vdub freaks in the springs or even up here somewhere. i'm sick of driving up to denver....

Just post a time and location - with an address preferably - so if any folks from up north (Denver) decide to come down we can mapquest it ahead of time.
I may be able to make it Saturday, not positive yet, but definitely interested.
