Compare: Small bumpers to big bumpers.

I need pics to see if I like what I have, or if there is cooler. I never really noticed the difference either, so if someone has pics of both, I would be indebted to you.

Here's my ride. What do I have?

Big bumpers, big doors, rear license trim, and 3 bar grille. Those items take years off the age of the car. (Cosmetically speaking of course....)

Whats really cool is this stuff called back to black and it makes you bumbers not grey that will take years off your car to. Dave
Re: Compare: Small bumpers to big bumpers. (88JETTEXTREME)

p.s i think the bumpers take as much age off as the rear licence plate thicker plastic does....
Re: Compare: Small bumpers to big bumpers. (200HP4dr)

I prefer smalls or euro smalls on golfs/gti's, and big bumpers on jettas.

See, I just must not be too perceptive, because I couldn't tell you what a big door car looks like. My doors don't seem small to me. They look to fit just fine thank you.

lol big and small doors have nothing to do with the way they fit. it has to do with that little piece of glass area or whatever that stays up whenever you roll down the window, like on your front doors. big doors; the whole window goes down... http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Hmmm....I can see the door difference now, but I don't see it in the bumpers. Not the back bumpers anyways.

Re: Compare: Small bumpers to big bumpers. (200HP4dr)

the back bumper on the red jetta has a painted lower section. Your bumper (and mine
) does not.. and its shaped a little differently too.
i never understood this forums, whole Big door/ Small door terminology..
IMO coupes have "big doors" and 4 doors have "small doors" (as they are physically smaller)..
...and older A2's have "small window doors", and newer ones have "big window doors"
I think we need a forum Glossary

Thanks, it hasn't been warm enough to wash it yet so that will have to happen this weekend. I'm going to apply shoe polish to the black plastic to brighten it up and give the car a good waxing too. Not too bad for a free car, eh?
