So have you had the chance to test it out yet? Good to hear you got the instructions sorted out.

stage 1 or 2? Either way congrats. I've been very happy with mine.

basically, are you completely satisfied with your blown GTI VR6 or do you still see yourself trading up soon?
I'm on the fence here and need some ideas....

Re: (Steev-1)

Well guys, I actually bought my stage 2 kit used from Gteeiguy. Therefore, the kit already had approximately 6K miles on it. I would say it's not worth it's weight in gold since it's under 300WHP. But... it is very nice to walk away from other very fast cars. It's also a completely different feel compared to a turbo car. Very linear. My gas mileage has improved and no gremlins have shown up thus far. Went to the track once. 1/2 tank of gas, no adjustments to tire pressure and full stereo system etc. I only hit 99mph but my 60 ft was 2.8. I would fully expect to gain 2 or 3 mile an hour if I did the track basics. However, on the street it definitely holds it own. You can figure it's probably a mid to low 13 second car.
I say

If your presently happy with your car, but just need more vroom. You will be very happy. If your one that easily gets board and wants the next newest thing you may want to consider a car that already has more.
Stage 3 seems to be to much $$ for what you get but... I'm one that gets bored.

Re: (BlakJTI)

Hey guys thanks for all the compliments:) Yeah I would say its deff worth it. I would love to have turboed my car, but there are just too many hidden costs for that for me. It almost feels double the power of stock, nice little whistle at idle to about 1800, then comes back at 3000, and just wait till you hit about the 6000 rpm mark and shift all you hear is WHOOOOOOSH, its a great feeling. It deff throws you back into the seat. It's a stage one, im working on ordering the stage 2 here shortly.
Also, keep in mind the directions vf gives you arent great, but with some mechanical ability you can get it done. And im working on instructions of my own with pics I took while I was installing it. If any of you need them just gimme an IM.
I would say deff worth the money, and keep in mind, after you get stage 1 outta the way, thats the main costs, in comparison stage 2 and 3 arent anything to what 1 costs haha. So just bite the bullet and get it, you will be as happy as me:)
Also, if anyone around the MD area can get me a good deal on some wheels lemme know. I am looking into 17-18" not really sure what kind yet, but if you have some laying around that you dont want to look at anymore, once again gimme an IM and tell me what ya got. If any of you have the Audi TT polished 17x7.5's lemme know:)
I will get it dynoed soon now that the break in period is now over and ill post up to let you guys know how it did.
Good day!
