Just purchased an 06 GTI with package #2. A few years back I had an 04 GTI which used a Blitzsafe hookup to the CD changer port in the hatch. I'd like to find something somewhat similar and easy to install. I don't have the radio code either.

I've been researching on which or what unit I can connect to the radio to make it possible to use my Blackberry as my mp3 player. The dealer can install the ipod connector, but I don't have an iPod anymore.

What are my best options for hooking up via a 3.5mm jack?

You won't need the radio code because the radio knows your VIN serial number. As long as it isn't moved
to another car it will work without your needing to enter the code.
