Has anyone else had problems with the front control arm bushings purchased from Autotech? The front bushing they sent me does NOT fit fully into the control arm and wont fit into the mounting spot with out some cutting. They only make the dog bone front bushings, but not the rear "disc" style bushings. My rears are cracked and worn, so I need to replace those, anyone know of a company that makes good poly rear front contorl arm bushings? The dealer wants $20 a piece, i figure for that much i might as well get some good ones. If anyone has some suggestions, please let me know. Thanks

Re: Control Arm Bushings (MidnightVR6)

I *had* the Autotech front wishbone front bushings for all of about 20 minutes and then I binned them for the same reasons. The Bugpack/Prothane kit works nicely and you can get poly for both the front and rear of the Aarm. For the rear ones, you WILL have to remove (or substantially lower) your subframe to get the bushings to fit into the subframe. I think I got mine through Potter.
I do have a set of stock control arm bushings here collecting dust though, if you want em.
