So I've have a slow coolant leak for quite a while. Assumed it was the water pump and then looked into it and looks to be the 2 coolant lines on the front of the engine and the flange on the side. Everywhere I look shows the flange for Audi A3 2.0's to be here.

When I look at my flange it looks like this coolant flange. Trying to figure out if something is wrong and I need to correct it or how I got this flange.

Check it out: get some hose clamp-offs and examine the fitting. Check for cracks, etc. A few of this type of clamp will save you from draining all your coolant to check out the fitting.

What was the outcome of this issue. I’m currently looking at the exact same issue but with my Audi A3 2008. What to buy a replacement flange but unsure of which is the correct one.
