I'm having trouble finding it easily online. I'm pretty sure it failed. Anyone know the part number? It is attached to the coolant tank.

I didn't know it could fail. the ECU just checks for resistance, it's like wires. I thought, don't quote me.
Prob a dealer only part. I haven' heard of these things failing.

It's a MK4 anything and everything can fail.
Sorry OP I don't know about the P/N.

I replaced the temp sensor and the coolant light is still on.. I have plenty of coolant, so it has to be that part..
FV-QR

I'm pretty sure that sensor is not available separate from the reservoir - it doesn't show in ETKA at all, so that'd be my guess. Just replace the hole reservoir - they are relatively cheap...
