Guys, I just pulled off a defective coolant sensor off of a vr6 and noticed the one I got from the dealer is not the same sensor.
The one the dealer gave me is blue and has a square connector with 4 wires.
The one on the car has 4 terminals and is black and shaped like a D
The bently manual shows the one the dealer gave me is the correct one but is different and will not fit the connector.
What gives? is this a half year thing or is there something that I didn't notice?
Also the clip that holds the sensor in is also broken, I guess this explains a little coolant loss, does anyone have the part number for this clip or will this be a special order?
