G11 (blue/green coolant, not the cheap green sold in stores) use this for a mk2.

G12 (pinkish/orange) /G12+ (purple) use this if you have a late model engine swap.

NOTE:

G11 can not be mixed with G12 or G12+.

G12 can be mixed with G12+.

All are phosphate free coolants.

Running G12++ in the VR swap. But, how much should i actually put in there? put 3liters in, and the rest water.
depends on what the mixture needs to be...
the vr6 takes about 9liters (little over 2gallons)
so you would have to determine if its a 50/50 mix or a 60/40 mix...

Just like the "What oil do you use thread", i come to find that the cheap stuff works fine.

They are fazing out the old stuff at the dealer and making room for the newer G12+. I have to get the parts manager to source me G11. The Autopart store around here doesn't sell aftermarket G11 & G12 :(

You can use BMW coolant as a G11 substitute.

BMW Part Number: 82141467704

Or G-05 from Xerex, before switching flush till the water is clear.

G12 can be substituted with Dex Cool.
