I am curious about these carreras...are they any good?
what do they usually retail for? not the MSRP which should always be higher than retail.
I am curious because I got a price quote from someone on them:
"I can go $875, which includes 2 black carreras, 2 brackets for your vehicle,
and shipping to your location. "
Is that good?

Re: Corbeau Carrera seats....any good? what is retail (QuickStick)

sounds like a pretty good deal to me. i was looking at carreras to put into my autox project, then i realized the stock seats in that car have insane bolsters already. cha-ching. more money to spend on 'go fast' stuff

BUY them.

I just really am not sold on them.....and I already accidentaly bought prosche brakes when I should have waited until spring.....
good to know the price though...I can pick up some seats in the spring.....
I really want to drop weight in the seats...I will probably go with the sparco roadsters....I just can't make up my mind.

But to be serious, I *think* I remember the guy that has the Silver GTi with the Oettinger kit, BBS RC, and just bought Dans Wilwood brake kit (sorry cant remember his name) had the ones your talking about and they didn't fit in the car! The back were to tall. And when he called them to see what he could do they didn't offer any support or tips other than cutting the frames or getting custom bases that would lower the seats. More or less have to mount them very low if not on the floor! Oh, and retail/list on those are $395. The brackets he is talking about are the rails/sliders. You will still have to get bases/mount.
Yep, mine were $1100 to the door with rails/slides. Bases are by Wedge

um...I bought the ecstuning stage 2 kit...it won't be installed until spring...it has black porsche boster calipers and 12.3" slotted rotors, mintex brake pads and goodridge lines.
I started the groupbuy and then I came under a certain amount of financial strain but I followed through with the purchase so the other guys could get their kits....now I am just further in the hole. But it is no biggie....I can just work hard this winter....
