A friend of mine has a 1986 GTi and wants to put bigger Corrado G60 brakes on it. What is needed to do this? Will they bolt right on or will it require a lot of modification?

To do this swap, you will need the Corrado calipers/carriers and the entire steering knuckle assembly from either the same Corrado or from a 1990-92 GLI 2.0 16v or any A3 4 cyl car. You will also need a 22mm master cylinder...
