Cost of installing Bilstein SP shocks in Seattle?

What is a fair price for the installation of front and rear shocks, plus an alignment on a 01 1.8t Passat Wagon? I have called a few specialty shops in and around Seattle, and I am getting quotes ranging from $480 to $580 for 6hrs of work? This sounds way too high to me. Am I way off? I would think it should only take 2.5 to 3hrs max at a rate of $60 to $65 per/hr, plus $50 for an alignment. Is that way off?

What have others paid for their Shock/Spring installations? And for those in Seattle, where have you gone to get such work done?
Thanks in advance
