I am getting a turbo upgrade in the near future and will be getting an AVC-R anyways...the reason i ask if it'll work on the stock KO3 is i am only showing 16 psi spikes and holding at 13 psi. I am like 90% sure its not a boost leak either, i think its just the pressure drop from the FMIC. I figure if others run 16 psi constant on their KO3s, why can't i, especially with a FMIC.

I'll be able to let you know on the 19th this is when mine gets installed.
As for your current readings, I would be sure to say that this is normal, as you go through the RPM range you are sure to see boost drop into the higher RPMs. Peak boost will be at around 3500 to 4500 and then taper off as rpm's increase.
I just dont think the little K03 can handle a solid 16 or more pesi throgh the higher RPM's for a sustained amount of time. Though I am sure the more more informed among us will answer this part more effetivley.

I have spikes up to 21-22psi and it settles down to about 15-16 psi at full throttle

Please keep me informed about your AVC-R. As I said, i am getting one anyways for later, just figured I could up the boost a bit on my KO3...if i blow it up, i'll just get the turbo upgrade sooner.

Don't you have a TT 225 though?? That could make a HUGE difference between chips.

hmm...

i am a bit baffled at this point..the car is still VERY fast!! just isn't showing the boost everyone else is.

open your fuse box on the drivers side of your car....and pull out the mini 15 fuse from the top section of your fuse box....leave it out for a few secs and then put it back in...That will reset your ecu....I have to pull mine out about once a month to keep my boost up..Very weird but it works for me....Give it a try and see if that helps at all....

vw tornado my boy with the orange gti that i think you know him he's in va he's runing a AVCR with no problems not sure if he's got it all hooked up but he's still working the set up on it hope that helps IM if you need his number.

I have a couple 15 fuses in mine, which one is it? there are #s for each fuse..which # is it on top??
