Crap....brakes died. I need quick answers on a few 11"/rear disc swap questions

OK, I backed out of the driveway, and the brake pedal hit the floor.
It eventually stopped, but not very well

I knew the rear passenger wheel cylinder was leaking, but I guess it finally let go. I put more fluid in the MC, as I usually do, and it did no good this time...there is air in the lines or something.
I'm calling the junkyard today for the rest of my parts.
My important questions:
Will the A3 front knuckles from A3 cars with 10.1 brakes fit on my A2?
I have the larger style ball joints ready, and I have 11" calipers and carriers ready...will the calipers bolt onto the A# knuckles, and will my A2 driveshafts fit into the A3 hubs? I have new wheel bearings ready for the knuckles/hubs I get.
Next important question:
Will any A2 with rear discs have the right prop. valve on the axle beam?
I guess I'll be doing the rear disc swap too, since I thought I needed a rear prop valve...I'm going to be using a 22mm MC with the 11" brakes up front...my GL Golf has the prop valve on the current MC, hence, I'll be losing the prop valve, and I need another...why not use on on the rear beam of disc equipped rides, and why not use the rear discs since I'll be working there anyway?
So, will any A2 rear disc beam suit my needs, and what all should I get?
The entire beam and bushings of course, and the e-brake cables, up to the e-brake handle, anything else? Will I need to replace all the hard brake lines on my GL to get this brake swap done?
Will the A3 knuckles work with my 11" calipers, and will they work with my A2 stuff?
Thanks a ton in advance for any help in the matter...I've got to call Adirondack to price rear brakes, since the junkyard brakes will probably be ruined, and I'll be waiting on answers about these questions so I can call a junkyard, and get my stuff, and get started on the project.

Good....I thought MK3 knucles would fit. If you have them on your ride with 10.1s, I can stick them on my ride with 11s....I just needed to know the knuckles would fit with the arms, struts, and the diveshafts. Good deal.
I found those locally for $75 a side, used, from a 98 Jetta.
I found the rear beam, complete, with brakes (dunno if they are any good though), for $250, from an 87 GLI.
I wanted the entire rear beam for the swap because my GL has no prop valve on the rear beam....and I need one of those. My current prop valve is on the MC, which I will be replacing with a MC which had no prop valve on it...so I need a prop valve. Rear disc cars have a prop valve on the rear beam, so I decided to grab the whole beam, prop valve and all, and bolt it up, taking the chance to insert poly inserts into the rear beam bushings.
Thanks for the reply!

I have a rear disc beam if you want it. I was going to leave it on the car to be towed away, but I can always leave the front wheels on instead.

Well, I found a beam locally for $200, and the junkyard guy said the brakes would be in working condition, so that is killer news, since I was looking at $149 a caliper for new ones, and $70 for rotors

Do the brakes on your rear beam work? How much are you wanting for them?
How many hours to get to Pittsburgh

Thanks for the offer!

Yes, the corrado G60 calipers/carriers would fit no problem on mk3 4lug/4cyl knuckles. I got mine off a 98 cabby. old mk2 half shafts fit fine on the new knuckles, but for some reason the splines fit tighter then my old ones. the new ones didn't quite slip on. It may have something to do with adhesive residue used on the splines on the newer cars. But with an impact gun the axle nut draws the spline in no problem.
I saved a few bucks by not replacing the bearings as they were only 3 years old.
I don't have rear discs so I can't help on the last question.
