Crazy idea

Let it be known that in know am I trying to attempt this mod I was just thinking. Would it be possible to convert a 4 door Jetta to two doors. This would require longer doors so I was thinking about the GTI and 25Y GTI seats for the access to the back. Then shave the back door handles and seal them up some how. I know this is crazy, and I probalby get yelled at for being rice or something but just think about it.
Thanks
Barrett

Re: Crazy idea (Spiro SU)

a couple of mkIII guys have shaved the back doors.. but it just looks funny,, you would have to cut out like a foot off the middle of the car.. if you did that and welded it all back together i would love you... so shorten the car by a foot.. heheh
If you've got the time and the money, it can be done... Hell, PerkyVW is making a 2 door convertible out of a Jetta...
Edit: If you were serious, you could have the C-pillar reshaped, to make it more raked for the coupe look. Probably could use the 2 door Golf doors, and move the B pillar back...
