Re: Crimping budgets: The Price of Gas.....literally :( (LSinLV)

I only fill my car once a month, so not yet... and a local gas station just started carrying "biofuels" (biodiesel and E85) and has coupons for $5 off 8 gallons or more of either one... so I'm not stressing the prices much yet.

Anything else goes to savings, bills, or vehicle maintenance. Period.

I'm not even going to discuss what that means at my house! lol!

I got a new girlfriend that eats and weighs less. Saves on food and gas!

Thick vs. thin chicks? Interesting, guys that is a question to ask about any female you are thinking of getting involved with. How will this girl affect my vehicle’s power to weight ratio?

I'm not hurting by any means. I only spend $100 a month. Drive for about 600 miles per month. Gas in Canada is $5 a gallon for 91 premium. Happy I bought something that is great on gas even if it's not the most fastest car on the road. I cringe at the thought of owning a porsche though.

Anyone here cutting back in any area due to rising gas prices,

Nope, not yet but I really try now to consolidate as many errands as possible into one trip.

No random magazine purchases mainly

Other than that, I've just been keeping the car efficient. Tires always at 50psi and I don't get more than half-a-tank of gas at a clip.
Less fuel = less weight and less money.

Not at all. I started car pooling almost 2 years ago, shortly after I moved, and with me trying to eat healthier, my food budget has gone up quite a bit. Damn expensive good-for-you-but-not-as-tasty food.

Company gas card FTW!
Besides, they love me, I usually ride my motorcyle to/from and for work.
The guy with the '08 Escalade EXT, no so much.

Since the weather has been getting nicer, I try to ride the bicycle as much as possible. Especially since the town I live in is about a mile and a half in circumfrence.
