well im trying to get the cv joints off the end of my axles to replace the ripped boots however they wont budge. anyone ever run into this problem? i tried beating the outside (no not the cage) with a BFH but nothing...i even saw sparks.

help me get my GTi back on the road!!!!

did you take off the circlips/snaprings?

Yeah, I had mine off last weekend and once i got the snapring off, it came right off.

Take it to a brake shop or machine shop and have them press it off. . .my best guess if you tried a BFH~
