Dad's new car! Vote Here.. Need your input

Hello car nuts,
Dad is looking for a new car, something that is more luxurious than his current CRV and integra and MGB. So far, the most important thing seems to be "rear legroom and trunk space." I don't know why, since he won't be sitting in the rear, but whatever. Performance is not really an issue, so no Acura CL type S, etc...Also, the car should be recognized as a luxury brand, hence Infiniti instead of Nissan. The price must be under $35k. < 3 yrs old used might be ok too. Feel free to add suggestions, but if I see a chipped GTI show up....

Audi A6...Audi A4....any Volvo....BMW 325....Acura TL....Passat....any of these fit the bill?...

Audi A6 lower level
or a filled to the brim Passat GLX v6 with 4motion.
Depends upon how he feels. Personally I'd go with the filled up passat v6 GLX 4motion. Or a A4 but that sounds to small for him.

buy the biggest, fattest, most marshmallow-suspension, drums-in-the-rear, dog-o-matic, superpower steering, fake leather and chintzy plastic Chrysler he can find. if he doesn't care about performance, and a good ride for people in the backseat seem to be important... just get a Chrysler. look for a "fleet vehicle" like what they sell to taxi companies. don't bother with foreign cars, a Chrysler Sebring starts out at $18,500. save the rest of the cash if performance is "not really an issue".

LOL LOL! a Mexican Sentra!!!! dude, something tells me that would last all of 40 seconds once it hit the New York State border in December. it'd be a good car to drive through the mud, let it get stuck, then take turns hitting it with a sledgehammer.
but i guess it has good backseat room, and performance isn't that big of a deal

Hey, tell you what? You drive the Sentra, I'll drive the Caddilac, I'll use the Caddy as kindling to start a BBQ/cookout and you can drive me back in the Sentra. Deal?

How about a Buick Regal GS?
Fast, RWD (still, right?), plenty of room and decent styling.

one last rip...
when she slammed the doors... did the whole car go "twaaaaaaaaannnnnggggggggg"? or did they squeak, moan, and go "karrrunnnnnck" like the doors on a '72 Dodge Dart?

If rear legroom is a priority, doesn't the Lincoln Town Car offer a LWB version which is even roomier than the standard? Hehe, and then there's the enormous performance potential of the car

Huh? The fit and finish were completely up to par thank you.No rattles even after a couple years being driven by me on Paraguayan roads. That is a pick of our old car.Do you see any panel gaps?
Now look at the Sebring you posted.

maybe those Mexican ones are better made than the american ones? probably, because my Nissan S-box's body panels had mysterious "Maytag" and "Kenmoore" stickers on the inside of them

now here's a question... are those Mexican ones legal to drive in the US? i don't think i've ever seen one here.

Obin... remember what Chris V once said- it's not Nissan, it's the climate you live in
