The bumper was cheap but the shipping was too darn expensive, and really left me with a hotpotato. But anyhow how did you all get your friggin' bumper skins on, and is there a better quality one I should get elsewhere?

i dont know, because i haven't purchased anything from oldschoolindustries yet, but i'd say that the bumper being cheap is the problem. you get what you pay for.
if i was you, i would go get one from a junk yard. you know it will go on right since it's factory. you can make them look good too.
here's how: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2493675

Re: (Mortal_Wombat)

Are you sure you bought them from me (oldskool Industries)
I don't think I ever sold just the bumper covers and I'm not sure why shipping would be high because I am in NJ also.
I do sell alot of stuff so I may have lost track though

But any way.
If you ever have any fitment problems with the products I sell please feel free to call me or email for help http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

lol, because I thought that the dealer might not even have them, and they'd be jacking me around like usual saying they do.

Then now that you've apparently got the dealer-part info, just spend the 20 nose-blows, 7 tanks of gas, or 7% of a homeless guy's "pocket change," and be done with it. You've got your world-changing music to make in your free time, without messing with fitment of inferior parts.
