Daytime Running Lights

I want to unhook them. I tried to find the thing clicking in the fuse box, but I couldn't get the right one. What do I do to get rid of these annoying lights?

on the drivers side beneath the steering column to the left you will find the relay panel behind the cover. You need to pull the relay panel down (a clip on each side that is grey in colour). Find relay 173 and look for the yellow wire that goes into the back of the panel behind this relay. Follow it up and you will find a quick disconnect connector. Unclip this connector and WOOLAH no more drls.

unless you have an early 96, then you pull relay 94, i did that and it works fine

Euro switch!!!! Best 35 I ever spent. ANd no one that rides in my car can figure out why its so cool

Yep. I love my 9 position euro switch with the stellmotor adjustment.

I modded my switch, They have 7 positions stock.

i still want to know where that supposed $35 switch hails from. everyone around here wants $70.

blehhh... well i don't think i particularly need a new lightswitch. it's sort of ridiculous if you ask me, they work to my liking. they go on, they go off, etc haha. but for $35, sure i'll do it...

True, it is just a switch, but with the Euro switch you can run just the foglights (with parking lights on), and also with dual headlights you can get the thing where low beams stay on with high beams http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Vwvortex classifieds. Find someone selling out their car for a new one and trade. I got mine streight up though. All sorts of good deals. When its time to give up my jet I will do the same. I wont be able to use any of the mods IF I GOT a new car so I would part it here and do it for what I got it for. But that will prob be a long time from now. So just watch the classifieds. And remember to barter with people.

yes, i know what it does. all i meant was i'm working on so many other things right now... exhaust, suspension, etc... that i didn't think a euro switch was of major importance at the moment. believe me, i WILL get one, just not at this time.
