dci toys for tots #5, sat. 11/15 2008 (philly)
FDR park in south philly.
as told to us by the marines last year, this is the biggest single day toys for tots event in PA, and the original VW toys for tots event in the mid atlantic.
a couple changes to the event this year:
BBQ battle (last year was the test run with jay from fsquared, and regrind facing off) this year we will be having a more organized BBQ battle, with the judging done by the marines.
this is a FREE GTG, all you need to bring is one unwrapped toy (more if you are feeling charitable)
t shirts: last year we sold out of 150 t shirts in 15 minutes. this year we will be bringing a lot more (all proceeds from t shirts go directly to the USMC toys for tots foundation)
