Wondering what we the proud Phaeton owner-enthusiasts think of this article. Has to be true give our undying devotion to the best car they refused to keep making, right..?

Fahrvergnugen is from the late '80s or early '90s. I have some Fahrvergnugen stickers from back then. I was going to put them in my Scirocco.

I bought a few new retro
Fahrvergnugen travel mugs from my dealer this year. My Scirocco is from before the age of cupholders. I'll have to add some accessory cupholders to use my Fahrvergnugen travel mugs in my Scirocco.

I see the author mentions he's going to look at R32s. They are my favorite Golf but the interiors look fugly to me. All black and boy racer. They are literally half the car as a decent Phaeton W12 but go for twice the money. That's for a trashed R32 with a bunch of modifications to make it even more boy racer.

I am on my 19th Scirocco - also turned 55 a month ago … when not owning a Scirocco (2nd gen only) I have a similar cowboy w/o a horse syndrome going on - I am on my 2nd Rc51 (if you have to ask) and have owned it seven years almost to the day (bought in Milwaukee aka “enemy territory”)
VWs like I have owned (disclaimer: due to 15years of marriage I have had 5 or 6 girls’ cars, sisters to the Scirocco; Cabriolets) are only cool to their owners and we don’t give a rat’s ass what the uninitiated think of our cars!
Note: I wish I had a “whatever you call it”sticker for my Scirocco :)

Here is one that would cost more than a Phaeton W12 to put back to stock. The interior is actually uglier than normal (in my opinion). For what they want, I could have the best Phaeton W12 in America..

Here's one that may be worth buying. I should watch it to see what it brings.

I believe I spent more on my Scirocco than both my Phaetons, lol. The only non-Fahrvergneugeny thing about the Phaeton is the over-boosted steering. Kids these days, I have to show 'em a '77 VW to prove that we used to have to keep our drinks in our crotches because no cupholders; however, plenty of ashtrays! No, that doesn't mean you can smoke in my car!!!
