Hey all I will be installing a high power amp/sub setup in my trunk and foresee the following rattle issues:
1. rear passenger door has been bad as it is
2. The flattop behind the rear seats seems kind of flimsy and might be prone to rattles.
What is the most asthetically pleasing way of covering these things up? Will I need a product like duramat? How do I eliminate the noise generated by the speakers within my doors? I have a beige interior. Thanks in advance!

Re: Decreasing rattles and distortion in MarkIV Jetta (brewskiND)

my hatchcover doesnt make any noise (pushing about 1100w to my subs) if it does take it out
with the doors, I heard someone saying something about felt between plastic and metal peices, I dont know how far that goes, its worth a shot... Let me know if you come up with anythign else.
