Looking at a new GTI VR6. When I bought my '96 GTI VR there were 211mi on the odometer when I got it. The two '02 models had like 235 and 240 on them. Is this standard? The 1.8Ts had only like 11mi on the odometer.
What was yours when you bought it?

14 on mine. Which I thought was good luck because that has been my favorite number since I can remember, and also a number I had through out High School when I played Varsity Ice Hockey, Wrestling, and X-Country.

Yeah the 1.8's and the 2.0's seemed to be lower than any VR6 I've seen... I was wondering if maybe they drive the VR at the factory or something cause they were all about the same.. within 20miles from my experience.

vr6's are probally test driven more than the other engines. Who knows

I picked up my Jetta VR6 with 19 km on it (about 12 miles).

It is still considered new with that mileage so you can't really complain and get a lower price.

152 miles,car was located in NY and driven to my dealer in NJ by my salesman.

mine had 50mi
it was driven 20 mi from another dealer
so it would have been 30 mi if i bought it from the other dealer

my car had 150 or so miles when i got it... but 75 or so was me on the test drive..
